Where the Anime Improved Upon the Manga


  1. Having one of Beshimi's darts jam up Kanryuu's Gatling gun. In the manga, Besh was totally ineffective against it.
  2. The firefly farewell at the pond, when Kenshin left Tokyo to fight Shishio. In the manga, it was just plain darkness outside the dojo.
